The Sudsi Story

Soap, reimagined.

Sudsi began with a simple idea: something we use every day can still be beautiful.

I’ve always been drawn to colour, texture, nature and the way places make us feel. When I began making soap, I realised it could become another creative medium — somewhere between fragrance, design and functional art.

Today, every Sudsi collection begins with an idea.

It might come from the shifting colours of the sea, a woodland path, a Mediterranean garden, an ancient landscape or simply an interesting combination of colour and form. I take those references and translate them into soap through shape, transparency, texture and fragrance.

Designed with a story

I don't begin by asking what a soap should look like. I begin with the place, atmosphere or feeling I want it to capture.

Colour comes from that story. So does form. And fragrance is developed alongside the design rather than added as an afterthought.

I blend scents to create something distinctive to Sudsi — combining woods, botanicals, florals, fruits, musks and aromatic notes until the fragrance feels like it belongs to the piece.

The result is soap that is intended to be experienced with more than one sense.

Three expressions of Sudsi

Our Sculptural Collection is Sudsi at its most expressive. Individually handcrafted compositions transform soap into miniature pieces of functional art, inspired by landscapes, nature and cultures from around the world.

Our Signature Collection takes a more restrained approach. Translucent soap, distinctive linear designs and our own signature scent families create a collection that feels modern, architectural and quietly luxurious.

And our Cold Process Collection returns to traditional soapmaking, bringing together plant oils, butters and essential oils in bars made slowly in small batches and allowed time to cure naturally.

Different in character, but connected by the same philosophy:

thoughtful ingredients, distinctive fragrance and considered design.

Made slowly. Made individually.

Sudsi isn't mass produced.

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches, and many of the sculptural pieces involve multiple stages of pouring, cutting, forming and assembling by hand.

That means no two pieces will ever be completely identical.

Small differences in colour, pattern and placement aren't imperfections — they're part of what makes each Sudsi soap individual.

Meet the Maker

Sudsi is my way of bringing together the things I love: art, nature, fragrance, colour and making things by hand.

I’m fascinated by the idea that an ordinary object can become something unexpected. Soap is temporary by its very nature, and perhaps that's part of its beauty. It's made to be admired, held, enjoyed and ultimately used.

I want opening a Sudsi soap to feel a little like discovering an object you weren't expecting — something beautiful enough to display, distinctive enough to give as a gift, but ultimately created to become part of an everyday ritual.

Because everyday things don't have to feel ordinary.
